Traditional handspun, hand-woven and mudstained cloths in rich colours of golds, ochres and black made by the Bamana in Mali have strongly influenced the creation of this range. The simplicity of its pattern and colour lends an elegant feel to the dinnerware. This design can also be interpreted as being lacquered Easternware, which adds to its diversity and universal appeal.
