Middle Kingdom simultaneously celbrates the traditions of Chinese porcelain and creates new objects both subtle and elegant. "We work to sustain the potter's art and pay homage to artistic achievements of the past, yet create a new classic standard. Each piece is made exclusively in our kiln in Jingedezhen, China, where the imperial kilns were once located. From original drawings our master potters give form to the ideas of designer Bo Jia. At each stage in the creation of our wares, great attention is paid to both quality of workmanship and adherence to high aesthetic standards. As a result we create new wares imbued with the luster of eternity. The handwritten inscription on the foot of each piece reads 'Middle Kingdom, Bo Jia Clan' in a six-character arrangement similar to a traditional reign mark."
